New Years Day is kinda’ fun – because it is so arbitrary.
Many European Pagan Cultures used Nov 1 as New Years.
Chinese use a date in January / February that varies.
It’s kewl.
We felines use September 13th as New Years Day.
(don’t ask why. not telling. huge secret.)
Don’t tell me… it’s because of the Great Staring? (Not that I’m supposed to know about that, but well, I once got bitten by a cat. I don’t think it was a radioactive cat though, but you never know with felines.)
Officially I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of THE GREAT STARING.
