I’m not Greek Orthodox, but their Christmas is not until January 7th !
So plenty of time for more Christmas Greetings.
Boy, they sure must save a bundle by buying now in the post-Xmas sales.
And they basically have another week even to mail Cards !
In Spain, our Christmas starts on December 25th but also kiiiinda does stretch until January 6th (because the kids get their presents that day). I can confirm, it is very convenient xD
There are many interesting Christmas Superstitions.
In the USA we are advised to take out the Christmas Tree on Twelfth Night (January 6th, 2017), lest the fairies that live in the tree become angry.
Whoa, so many superstitions! And some of them contradictory xD
I suppose all the ones about removing Christmas decorations help to prevent the Christmas craze from spanning over the whole year, since it already seems to start in August…
